The symbol of peace and perfection not only serves to distinguish the success of renowned poets and scholars – in Greece, laurel crowns are also placed upon the heads of the bride and groom at wedding ceremonies. Customised with a personal monogram, Laurel is the ideal wedding bed linen. Embroidered with one, two, three or four letters, your desired initials become an artistic adornment for duvets and pillows, bordered with classic bourdon edging. In terms of colour, you can choose from tone-on-tone embroidery on white, grey or dark blue, or gold lamé on white. With Christian Fischbacher typically Swiss passion for quality and  intricate attention to detail,  a monogram will be adapted to the specific proportions of your bed linen and embroider it by hand onto Christian Fischbacher noble cotton sateen 105 in their studio. It is woven in the so-called Swiss setting exclusively using certified Supima long staple cotton, the high quality of which is confirmed by the prestigious swiss+cotton seal. This lends the bed linen its subtle sheen and smooth feel. (Duvet cover and flat sheets up to 240 cm width).

Christian Fischbacher, born 1803 in the village of St.Peterzell in Eastern Switzerland, founds the company at age of sixteen. A son of a farmer, the young Christian collects cotton fabrics woven by the farmer’s wives and trades them in the market in St. Gallen, travelling nearly 30 Km on foot to get there. For nearly two centuries, Christian Fischbacher has been at the heart of the textile industry. A family owned company, with headquarters in St. Gallen Siwtzerland, a centre for the textile industry since the 13th century.
