The SUBMARINE women’s robe, also available from Christian Fischbacher, is lined with one-sided, white Dreamflor and matches the bedlinen of the same name. The bathrobe, which features a shawl collar and is around 120 cm long, is manufactured in exclusive swiss+cotton quality and, in accordance with the requirements of the Öko-Tex Standard 100, is produced in Switzerland. Its imaginative pattern prompts the wearer to dive into the colourful, underwater world of the tropics. Different species of flamboyant South Seas fish seem to swim over the exquisite fabric, making the fascination of a diving holiday appear close enough to touch. Historical drawings from the New York Public Library served as inspiration. The shimmering surface of the satin makes the water appear to glisten. Sophisticated foregrounds and backgrounds of plants and fish create a vibrant, three-dimensional feel that transports us to an exotic reef.

Christian Fischbacher, born 1803 in the  village of St.Peterzell in Eastern Switzerland, founds the company at age of sixteen. A son of a farmer, the young Christian collects cotton fabrics woven by the farmer’s wives and trades them in the market in St. Gallen, travelling nearly 30 Km on foot to get there. For nearly two centuries, Christian Fischbacher has been at the heart of the textile industry. A family owned company, with headquarters in St. Gallen Switzerland, a centre for the textile industry since the 13th century. Their products are created with great attention to detail, a deep rooted passion for quality materials and constant drive for creative innovation. Characterized by its delicate sheen and soft, silky feel, it is the base-cloth for much of our creative prints and popular designs.Dreamflor lining: Luxurious and fluffy, Dreamflor is a lightweight towel (250g per m2) that is exceptionally absorbent and soft.

Wash separately at 60° C. Cut any snagged loops off with a scissor.
