Description
Timeless, minimalistic and yet opulent – is the best way to describe the “Ca’ d’Oro” dinner service from Sieger by Fürstenberg. The decoration of the “Ca’ d’Oro” was inspired by the extraordinary architecture of the Palazzo of the same name in Venice. For his design, Michael Sieger made use of some features of Gothic architecture, e.g. the shape of the quatrefoil. With its regular, round shapes, this design element reminds you of a summer flower in bloom.
The extravagant “Ca d’Oro” dinnerware is a creation arising from the collaboration between the designer Michael Sieger and the porcelain manufacturer Fürstenberg. The shapes of the individual items are based on the “My China” dinner service, but these have been reinterpreted anew with a variety of different black and white motifs. All the items of the service can be used in a very versatile way and in different combinations – thanks to a finely coordinated system of sizes, shapes and dimensions. By skilfully combining the individual black-white-golden items with each other, it is possible to produce fascinating artistic creations.
All the individual items of the “Ca’ d’Oro” service are decorated with a soft golden rim which is carefully applied to the item by hand. The dinner service harmonises wonderfully with Fürstenberg’s “Treasure Gold” also designed by Michael Sieger. Please note that both “Ca’ d’Oro” teapots come with a tea strainer.
